As summer approaches, many have a tough time deciding what to do for the most anticipated vacation of the year. Determining the best destinations can be a struggle, but the number one staple trip always includes traveling to the beach. Every summer the hot spot beaches of Florida and California are flooded with people kick starting their summer off right drinking and partying. For some, popular beaches around this time are not ideal simply because of the crowds.
After months of hardcore studying and/or 40+ plus hour work weeks, it would be nice to just lie out and enjoy the causality of not being bothered. For people longing for this peaceful, undisturbed trip of relaxation, pack a light bag or two and head to one of America's most secluded beaches.
1. Cayo Costa, Florida
Living by the infamous "Get up and go!" line, book a flight to Cayo Costa, Fl. Accessed only by boat or ferry, the remote Cayo Costa island is one of the finest in the world. Primarily sought for sea shelling, the soft white sandy beach stretches at about nine miles. Wildcat Beach, Point Reyes National Seashore, California
If Florida is not on your destination list, Wildcat Beach of the Point Reyes National Seashore located in California should be. Before enjoying the sweet waves and view of Alamere Falls at Wildcat Beach, visitors must make a 5.5 mile hike, by foot or bike, to get there. It is deemed worth it when approaching the 2.5 mile remote beach at the southern end of the Point Reyes National Seashore. Although, a moderate amount of effort is required to reach, there is very little beach traffic allowing visitors to have a generous portion of the beach all to themselves.
