Review: Cashius Green - Pi$ce$ EP

Cashius Green has been putting in work for a while now, along with the UTB Life$tyle crew. It's time the game paid more attention to artist like Pheo and Dre. Biggity, but that's another discussion. Cashius Green puts together an EP released through Cinematic Music Group that doesn't disappoint. Check out the entire review of Pi$ce$ after the jump.

The artwork draws you into discovering the concept behind the project. If you have already been following the UTB Life$tyle crew you would know that they are very active in the art community. You can expect some special on every cover of their body of works. Now, on to the actual music. This is an eight-track EP including two bonus tracks. The opening track "Shrink", discusses the addiction of money and the lifestyle that comes with it. It has very relaxed vibe and is a decent track to start with, thus making it one of the highlights of the project. The J-Money produced track "20 Below" has many uses of instruments making the track level out nicely with Cashius Green's lyrics. When those two link up it's usually something worth the listen. "Convertible Flow" featuring Big K.R.I.T. gives the project something very smooth to ride to. Behind the wheel with a beautiful woman to your side, good medication, and all your problems floating away. Big K.R.I.T. adds his eloquent southern influence to close out the track in the right way. Overall the EP was well put together, it has a very relaxed vibe, as if you were watching the sunset from a balcony or the beach.  We give the Pi$ce$ EP a 4 out of 5 O's. Let us know how you feel about the project below or on twitter .
