SMO Review: YG - My Krazy Life

The West Coast hip hop scene has been killing it over the last couple years and was missing one final piece to place them in the front. YG and DJ Mustard put together a real street album that gives you a feeling from the days of Pac, Dre, and Snoop. Check out our entire review below.
What YG and DJ Mustard did with this album was timeless. The lead single "My Nigga", featuring Young Jeezy and Rich Homie Quan, is the perfect example of timeless. A song so relatable to our generation, even hip hop pioneer Russell Simmons can't get enough of it. The realness of this project is what draws listeners in. There are real skits that mesh so well with the tracks, you almost forget you're listening to an album. You get a taste of everything on this project. Club bangers such as "Left, Right" and "Who Do You Love?" featuring household name Drake keep the energy high throughout the track list. I'm sure most would enjoy other tracks such as "Bicken Back Being Bool", "Do It To Ya" featuring rising R&B artist TeeFlii, "Really Be" featuring the good kid Kendrick Lamar and it honestly doesn't stop. Head to your local music store or iTunes and purchase a classic West Coast album, My Krazy Life.
