Mixtape Review: Bonic - Bonic

Bonic also known as Boo Bonic recently released his latest self-titled project. I heard of Bonic from the Cherrios video with Dom Kennedy and I loved the style from visual. His style and fashion sense undoubtedly transfer well into his music. Read the full review after the jump.
This Bonic project is something different and not what I had expected. It displays a new sound that blends a luxurious lifestyle with street ties. You can hear in the party tracks like "Trick Hoe" featuring Melana or "Naked" featuring Ricky Hil how Bonic explains his luxurious activities. On tracks such as "Streets Luv Me" featuring Schoolboy Q and Troy Ave or "Be Honest" you hear things from an opposite platform. The major highlights off the project in my opinion would have to be between "The Dum Down" and "Cherrios" featuring Dom Kennedy.  Both tracks have appealing sounds that give you that summer nights feeling. And of course the feature from Dom K. adds its own element to the "Cherrios" track . Overall, I love this project from top to bottom. You can definently incorporate this free album in your daily activities. We give this project 4 O's out of 5.
